Which studying plan is more strategic?

I'm going into my sophomore year and I'll be taking the PSAT (for practice, of course). I would, however, like to study for it rather than go in blind (I went into a SAT I blind in eighth grade. Ended up scoring a 1900 but did not enjoy it). My question is, would it be better to start studying for the actual SAT and then just use the knowledge I get from that for the PSAT? Or should I study specific PSAT questions? How similar are the two?

PS- I took a blind PSAT about a month ago and scored 200. Is that good? Is there enough time left to improve upon that score?

You have great scores for a rising sophomore! I’d say just practicing one section every day for 30 min (or whatever the time is) and reviewing EVERY single answer should bring your score up to around 210-215.

P.S. I’m a rising sophomore too ;)

Apart from the essay, the PSAT and SAT use the same kind of questions. Preparing for one prepares you for the other.
