Which test date to choose?

<p>What's the latest test date that I can choose to take the SSAT, and the school will receive the score?</p>

<p>I used the Princeton Review and Kaplan. I worked through 10 books or so and i gathered that Princeton Review prepares you better for math and reading while Kaplan emphasizes vocabulary. I think the latest test date is the one in December. You can take it in January but most school don't like it too much.</p>

<p>Our Jr. Prep school schedules all thier kids to take the test in December and it's fine to take the test again in January if necessary. That said, you should probably not plan to take the test for the FIRST time in January as that is really the last date and you need a contingency date in case you are sick or something.</p>
