<p>hey lianri -- i turned down cornell for tufts and also wondered.. but have visited friends there enough to have an idea what it's like ;) collegetown is fun but in the end, boston was for me!</p>
<p>i also turned down northwestern, barnard, dartmouth, skidmore, jhu, nyu, and gtown for tufts. it wasn't easy, but in the end, i think it worked out well. everything happens for a reason!</p>
<p>I turned down Cornell, Hopkins and UVa for Chicago. :)</p>
<p>My neighbor just turned down Berkeley, Princeton, and MIT for Carnegie Mellon. Just liked the program, school, and location better.</p>
