I have a 4.2 GPA with 8 AP courses and I am 2 years ahead in Math. I am heavily involved in DECA (chapter officer, 3 time competitor at States) and I founded an Environmental Club. PArt of the Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, English Honor Society, and DECA Honor Society. I am interested in majoring in business, but that may change. What Virginia schools should I be applying to? Any out of state suggestions?

Oops my bad and 1950 on the SAT

James Madison honors college (2 separate apps., so make note of the honors college app. due date). JMU has one of the best business programs (especially at the graduate level -ranked #1 for regional universities 2010).

University of Virginia (your SAT scores are just slightly lower than accepted avg., but I think you still have a shot.) Another top business program and some of the best internship opportunities. Very competitive business program though, so you will have to work very hard first two years to be admitted to the program.

Virginia Tech-within top 50 business programs too. excellent program again. You are right on target for VT.

William & Mary-I don’t know as much about their business program, but would say that it’s also worth a shot.

U of Mary Washington

George Mason U. as your safety.

sounds like you need a rap song to help you choose!!
