Hi, My D just received her rooming assignment and it's a double in White Hall. In pictures I could google the room walls look red, is this correct? are they all red? I actually like the way it looked but it would make a difference in the bedding she picks out. Just wondering. Any other information you could share about White Hall would be great as well. thanks

There are a couple of different colors. I think there’s also a yellow in some rooms. I think it was to avoid everything looking boring and white.

Colors are different, depending on the room. I had the displeasure of often visiting some friends who lived at White Hall last year.

White Hall is possibly one of the worst dorms at Northeastern. It’s old. Some of the rooms floors’ are slanted (I’m not kidding). It just has an icky feel to it that is hard to describe unless you are in there.

On the upside, its location is pretty good. She’ll be close to several dining halls, restaurants/cafes, Wollaston’s, and a lot of the academic buildings.
