<p>Hello everyone! This is my first post. I found this site by accident a few hours earlier while googling “White House Internship Notifications”. I applied for the Fall 2010 internship at the White House and I know this week is the week of notifications (if the WH’s website is to be believed). Has anyone gotten anything back yet? The only emails I’ve gotten from the WH were the confirmation that they had received my application and the recommendations for my recommenders on June 5th but no subsequent emails or requests for phone interviews. :/</p>

<p>I’m still keeping my fingers crossed. I really want this.</p>

<p>ETA: I just noticed my tag at the top says 2020. Can’t change it but I’m sure you all know I meant 2010. 2020 is yearsssss from now. I don’t think I’ll be applying then. Lol.</p>

<p>I’m just saying that you submit something and for better or worse they’ve looked at it. All this talk about e-mails etc. doesn’t really mean much since none of us really know what’s going on. </p>

<p>Thanks WH2010! Although this was the only feasible time I could apply so This is the end of the road for me. I was certainly in the first big waive of denial e-mails so I wouldn’t be too worried yet as I did not receive the vitals e-mail or a phone call etc… as you did! GL!</p>

<p>I just got my reject email, what is so frustrating is that there is not explanation or insight as to why you do not get in.!!!</p>
