Who all is going to the scholarship competition?

Post so we (I in particular) can get an idea of who's going. This way I can know somebody beforehand. No one I know from Memphis is going besides me.

mememememe....but i'm from NY...don't hold it against me!

haha, my sis did this 3 years ago...she's now a junior at UD...

I would go...but I don't feel like spending a weekend there because I think I'm going to Rutgers instead...

aww, c'mon, do you really want to spend a weekend in the official Oil and Petrochemical Refinery State? DE is MUCH better...and better weather, too!

join us!

Don't pass up a chance to get a full ride.

I wanna go but I don't know the where? who? what? when? etc. is there a website?

Uh you kinda have to get invited.

I think they invite the top 100 applicants or something like that- and that's out of what, 22,000 + applications?

So don't feel un-special if you didn't get invited. I didn't, but then again I definitely didn't think I would.

But congrats to everyone who did, and best of luck.

who's staying the extra days? i'm flying, so i am...

I live in NJ. And I don't mean I'm going to Rutgers that weekend...I just mean I might decide to go to college there since they already offered me an almost full ride.

Maybe I should go to this...what can I lose anyway...hmm I have march 5th to RSVP.

Well, do you guys think that I could still get a full ride if I'm out of state? Because it costs 10k more out of state! So even if I got what would be a full ride for instaters, it would still cost 10k. Do you think the scholarship could possibly cover that difference?

yo, i'm out of state, too...my sister is there now on full tuition (yah she's also from NY)...Dupies go to anyone, not just instate students...they're for the best students, no matter what their home state...i know some out-of-state kids who have gotten that one (that's the full ride)...it's full-full, depending on what your starting cost is...it's a "bigger" scholarship for out-of-staters, if you want to put it that way.

anybody know when we hear back?
