who got in already..????

i heard that decision letters are out already? do you know if it's true?? 4 people on CC have already received a decision!!

excited, Where is the website we can check ?

Who are the people who have gotten decisions??? There is nothing in the site!!!

LIES! 10char

^ That’s the most likely explanation. My guess is that the number of RD people who have heard already =~ 0.

It’s conceivable that there are one or two special situations with athletes who were asked to sign Division I national letters of intent that may have produced something like the Ivies’ “likely letters”. I’ve never heard of Chicago doing that, but I don’t know why they wouldn’t in the appropriate circumstance.

It’s also possible that, as at many colleges, Chicago admissions people will send an appreciative letter or e-mail to a student whose essays they really like. The recipients may mistake this for an acceptance (and most of the time, but not all of the time, it eventually turns into one).

For all other rounds of admission that I’ve seen, students get an e-mail telling them the decision is available online. A letter is sent out at the same time the e-mails are sent out.

So I think you’ll know when you know.

I got in already…early action.

Sorry to disappoint. :P

Well, a girl at my school got in already, but like JHS mentioned, she is a soccer player and was being “recruited” by UChicago.

i got in already!!

…early action. mwahahaha.

good luck everyone!

Oooooo I got in!!!
It came! …In mid-december.
Sorry i had too. lol
EA! WOOT

woooooooow for the fifth time.

^^are you immature?

how ?

I think LaVie was talking about the EAers posting, haha.

Oh, if only there was no online checking. Then I could just worry about getting the mail every day, instead of checking online multiple times per day ON TOP of eagerly awaiting the post truck.
