<p>thats not a very accurate representation of who usually makes it though.</p>
<p>the people with low stats that do make it in are rareities, and you shouldn't base your chances relative to them.</p>
<p>Really, I do not care for these threads. In my opinion, people who make these are those who have sub-par GPA or SATs and hope to read about people who have similar GPA or SATs who have been admitted and it will make the poster feel better about his or her chance at the reach school. Reality check: yes there are exceptions and there are people with below average stats who are admitted but that won't change your situation or your chances of admission at all so just wait for your letter and whatever happens happens.</p>
<p>I apologize to the thread starter if this was not the case but I think for a majority of these threads it holds some validity.</p>
