i'm not saying it's giving me unfair advantages. My dad just said approximately taht was the competition range and that HYPS is the schools u r really likely to get the money to. My dad's status doesn't matter whether he's the head or the lowest rank. AGain i don't know the details.

Disclosure of any information that cannot be found on public domain, which in this case is the scholarship's official website, by one(s) responsible for the awarding of such financial gift can, in most cases, be considered presenting unfair advantage. There is no official statement which assert, imply, and/or suggest that being accepted to "HYPS" most likely assures the award of scholarship. I apologize for making an immature statement concerning the occuptional status of your parent. However, I do suggest that you find out the details - yourself - as the foundation will bestow its coveted scholarships after conducting a personal interview with you. Trust me, they will demand details in your responses; mere "My dad said..." will probably not guarantee your success in the process. Again, good luck.

p.s.
To maintain my dignity, I assure you that I am not an applicant to the scholarship program under discussion. Thus, my previous statements have not been products of personal emotion.

I get to go anywhere I want!*

*as long as it is Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Mit, or Yale

To bad my stats are down the tubes and I'm a junior.

I want to go to Harvard...................................College.

I'm a double legacy but suprisingly my parents aren't really pressuring me one way or the other. They don't really care as long as I get into a 'good' school (although they've never heard of Pomona and consider Brown for slackers - so there aren't too many of them in their eyes lol)

I think I'll apply EA anyway though.

I understand your pain. My dad has been telling me to go to Harvard since I was five.

Harvard is my first choice, although I would most definitely choose Penn Huntsman over Harvard.. if Penn offered as much financial aid.

I think my mo is obsessed with Yale and my dad Princeton. Oddly enough, neither one really talks about Harvard.
