All my previous summer assignments…

AP English Lit: Only had to write an essay on why I’d like to be in the class, my goals, and all that jazz. That really surprised me! Most people get reading projects and stuff, but we only had an essay! I think the catch was that it had to be 10 pages…

AP Environmental Science: We had to read a few chapters from the book, and answer questions. We also had to record some weather patterns and how it affected the soil…

AP Chemistry: Read and answer questions from the first 5 chapters of the book… .-.

AP Biology: Same as above^

AP Psychology: Same as above^

I just have to read a book for lit and I’m still too lazy to do it. I have time to read it. I just look at it and go “Nope. Maybe tomorrow.”

I have AP English Literature homework.

We have to read Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison. It is a ~550 page book.

And we have to do a Major Works Data Worksheet and find 5 scholarly articles from literature databases. Annotate the entire book, and do the worksheet based on the 5 articles we have to annotate and make connections to theme and stuff like that. Then we have to make a powerpoint about 15 slides, then during the first day of school we will have a group discussion.

And if you do not seem to be familiar with symbolism, themes, etc. The teacher will make you PT and you will receive a “F” for the assignment which is worth 2 Test Grades, 2 Homework Grades, and 1 Participation Grade.

Nice summer, eh.

Above^

I feel sorry for you. I only have to write an essay.
