Kelly92, there are also transfer applicant housing such as Sky Halls so I highly doubt off campus are the only options. There are also Park Point and University Village housing as options which are really nice. (Even though it’s on campus it’s off because its a separate entity from the University if you understand what I mean)

That’s what House of London was saying. Sky Halls are on campus. So if those fill up, then yes, they will provide off campus housing… Also, transfer applicants have a different fin aid pool than incoming freshman, so I may not be getting “whatever is left.” A lot of transfers haven’t even heard yet. Trust me, I went through this process with SU last year. Every case is different, and you don’t know what will happen. I congratulate you on your acceptance, but please don’t continue to make those kinds of assumptions.

And good luck to those of you who have not heard!

I understood that. Buts let be honest the deadline for fin-aid has already past. A couple of people who I talked to already got their fin-aid packages. Also, am not making an assumption, I have been through the college process already. For the most part I was suppose to attend a University in another state with a much smaller endowment then SU. I mailed all my info on time and I recieved a crappy fin-aid package on top of that I have two older brothers that go to college. Something I learned w/ fin-aid is the earlier you apply the better package you will recieve especially if you go to a school w/ a small endowment.

Kelly, I am very sorry for my mistake, and I understand that the earlier you apply the better. Which is why I did everything way before the deadline. I don’t know what the hold up is… ?? But all I can do is remain positive. I honestly had everything sent in by November, filled out my FAFSA on Jan 1 (midnight), and CSS on time. IDK what’s going on with admissions. I hope to hear an answer soon. And again, I apologize for my mistake. I hope you forgive me.

has ANYONE still not heard back from SOA?! i’ve accepted at this point that they’re probably waiting for people to decline admissions - but eegads people it would REALLY be nice to get a YES or a NO so i can at the least figure out where i’m taking summer classes and if i need to sublet my apartment.

Hi my son also has not heard from the SOA as well and lets be honest its taking them forever. I know they wherent considering any of classes to transfer from his current SOA school they felt it was not adequate to transfer even the A classes so yea we are getting super annoyed at all the work thats gone into it, money for the trips there and back(face to face interviews) and all the money for the extra transcripts, letters of reference etc. Its ridiculous he’s heard back from other schools that have rolling admissions but not SU his number one on his list and as you and I know sooon it will be to late to get into those as well…
