<p>It appears that most people (on CC, who are a poor representation of all UC applicants) apply to Davis as a saftey. You’ll go here if Cal of UCLA rejects you. I personally really like UC Davis. It’s an excellent school w/ a great rep. I have the most realistic chances here and I’ll be thrilled if I get in. Does anyoen else feel this way? Does anyone else apply because they actually WANT to go to Davis?</p>
<p>Absolutely. Davis is my 1st choice...I probably won't end up going though, which really disappoints me. </p>
<p>I'm sure I can get accepted, but other much much less prestigious schools are offering me loads of scholarships... tough situation for me.</p>
<p>Davis is definitely my first choice, and if I get in, I'll be running through the streets with joy :D.</p>

<p>I love Davis! It seems like a very good fit for me. However, there are still other schools that I would like to check out so I can keep my options open.</p>

the campus is nice... but a little bit too suburban for me.</p>
<p>I just want to go there because it's the only UC (I think..) that has NROTC on its campus. And davis is my reach so i'm sad too</p>
<p>I got into Cal and UCLA and still went to Davis.. I don't like the feel of the Berkeley campus and LA is such as huge city... I feel more comfortable in smaller towns.</p>

<p>Davis is one of my safeties but I still want to go there. It's not something I would dread.</p>
<p>I'm not going to say it's a safety, but I highly doubt I'll be going.

<p>I used to live in Davis when I was little...small town. Very down to earth. I thought it was a nice experience :).</p>

i'm not gonna say its a safety but i'm not too excited about it or any of the ucs i applied to (accepted to la and irvine)
im really really really hoping for my first choice (gtown) or other privates to pull through or else i'm stuck in a uc, and im gonna end up spending the rest of my life in the bay area</p>

<p>I would really like to attend UC Davis, which is now a possibility after being accepted (much rejoicing! yay!) It's in my top 3, in no particular order: UC Davis, UCSB, U Arizona. I can't wait for the "official visits for accepted students;" which hopefully will make it clearer which will be the best fit for me. Go Aggies!</p>
