Who is applying to UCF but plan not to attend ?

Honestly-
How many of you here have applied to UCF,
are certain that they will be offered admissions
but deep down inside have no intention of
matriculating at UCF ? </p>

<p>Although I have applied and fairly certain that
I will be offered admissions, I have no intention
to attend UCF as UCF is solely a safety school for myself.
I guess that some of you borderline cases can have my
acceptance spot at UCF in February when my 1ST choice
sends out their acceptance letters !</p>

acceptance notices for top level applicants should post on the
UCF web site within the next week.

<p>Not only the best applicants, but also some deferals, too. They tend to get word to those with great scores, and those who are defered, so that they know if they need to take needed measures, such as retaking ACT/SAT. Yes, UCF is my first choice-and the only school I’m applying to. I refuse to stay here in Illinois, and attend any of the university’s located here, because I don’t like any of them. So, for me, if I’m accepted, I’m attending there, heads down. I have no interest in the private schools there, no interest in FSU, and absolutely no interest in U of F.</p>

<p>My brother and I, actually. We’re feternal twins, boy and girl. Thank you very much, I’d give anything to be accepted into the school. Kyle, I also applied for summer, and we should be hearing back decently soon. I will be sure to update a new thread if I hear back:)</p>

<p>I think the average was a 24 GPA, and a 3.3 to 3.6? Not totally sure, but somewhere around there.</p>

<p>Did I sound hostile? I was being totally sincere about it!! Trust me when I say that I’m crossing my fingers for him to get accepted. I even prayed last night.</p>

<p>Honestly don’t see the point of this thread. I know a ton of kids that turned down UF for UCF and vice versa. I don’t see what the big deal is.</p>

<p>To ensure clarity, the point of this post was to express my sincere apologizes to those who have applied to UCF and may be possibly initially deferred since applicants such as myself who will probably be offered a freshman spot will only take away an opening from a truly deserving applicant to only release my acceptance at a later date when my first choice responds with their choices. That was confusing even to me !</p>

<p>Im one of those that will probably turn down UF and go to UCF. I have a 3.8 GPA and a 2030 SAT so will probably get into UF but I rather go to UCF</p>

<p>If I were you, I wouldn’t go to college at all. It seems you already have life figured out. Also, that keen ability you have to predict the future…well, that is an asset that is in high demand in this world.</p>
