Who is your role model?

You know what I mean.

Ultimate role model of whom I’ve never met? Caesar.

My Dad. Or, Former Director of the CIA/Secretary of Defense: Leon Panetta

Myself, of course

Anybody that one the lottery. They can do anything they want. And mostly my cat. If you could be a cat and just sleep and eat and chill that would rule.

Good answer; I like this.

This. Or a goldfish. New things to find and explore every 3 seconds! Whee! And lots of sleep and peace and sleep… and sleep… and sleep… and did I mention sleep?

Elon Musk. What a guy.

^I was going to say Elon Musk as well. Also Richard Feynman was pretty awesome too.

Honestly, one of my favorite Kpop stars. I know it sounds shallow and like a crappy role model but hear me out: a condensed version of her life story is that she was born in LA, with an older sister and older brother. Then, when she was in middle school, her mom died. She tries not to talk about it, but moms are kinda a big deal in Korean culture, and talk shows love to ask about their relationships with their parents, and she breaks down. Anyway, she moved to Korea to start training when she was 15/16 and had to learn the whole culture while preparing to debut. Now she’s one of the most famous k-pop stars. She shows me that no matter what happens, no matter how bad your life seems to be, you can be strong and make an impact on the world and have an overall good life. Her story is one of the reasons I didn’t commit suicide like I had been planning to a little over a year ago. and if you know who I’m talking about, yay!

^ Tiffany from SNSD? Love her.

Archimedes and Sal Khan :D

Theodore Roosevelt/Aubrey Plaza/Lana Del Rey woop woop

I wonder if anyone will say “HITLER” :D

Role Model: My friend, who is the most confident, alive, lovable person alive. Another person I admire, although not greatly since I don’t know him personally is Mr. Rogers. Also Abdul Kalam.

I admire aspects of famous individuals - the confident stride that some people have, their achievements but I don’t idolize anyone instead of God, since there are always * those * people who idolize celebs and then get crushed once they find out that they’re jerks.

The people I admire the most exist IRL - mostly kids I’ve worked/collaborated with. They’re amazing. For instance, there is a girl I barely agree with on any political issue - very conservative but she’s incredibly kind (so, so nice) to everyone, sufficiently outgoing, good style, very smart, entrepreneurial etc. I admire her. And I’m really fortunate in that I can describe many people I know in such a manner.

How is it that the next person who posts knows who I’m talking about but I already know all SONEs near me IRL?
