Since both overnights get their own thread...who isnt going on one?

I'm not going because its not really like it will help me make my decision (I already have) and I have already visited and done most of the stuff they do except for the actual overnight.

P.S. Those who do go on the overnights...somebody bring a digital camera and take pictures of all the fun you will be having (I think we have all seen enough pictures of the buildings by themselves). I can host them if you need.

I'm not going, pretty much for the same reasons. I already know I'm going, I don't need to be convinced, and I've visited. But have a lot of fun if you are going, people. And I second otto's request, definitely send pictures.

I'm going independently during the week next week due to conflicting schedules for both admit weekends. I think I'm going to stay over Sunday night, and take a tour and go to classes on Monday. It won't be the same as an admit weekend but I think it still will be fun and give me a good idea of what the place is like.

I'm not going cuz I already made a decision. But I'd love to see some pics of the campus (I've only been to the city once). I tried to google for them, but without much result. Anyone knows any sites with pics/inteactive tours? Or maybe someone can post some photos of the campus plz? =)

eh i cant go because i have gymnastics meets... but i cant compete in them since i broke three ribs and my sternum a couple days ago (ouch!) but my coach is still makin me go so no overnight for me. although i did email UC to see if they can make an exception for me haha.

haaah. Which proves why you should stay away from gymnastics, pain, and being broken, and stick to safe activites like Science Olympiad, Youth and Government, and bungee jumping.

i'm not sure whether i'm going to an overnight or not. i just visited the university last weekend, and my parents are somewhat unconvinced that i need to see the same place twice in two weeks. besides, if i go, i'm going to miss three days of school that week, since on monday, i'll be in finishing up the amherst open house.

sigh i do truly want to go again though.

Alex: what kind of exception are you trying to get?

They will do overnights and class visits and the such at just about any time.

No visit for me for the same reasons as Sarah.

Also, I live too close to the University to justify an overnight stay. The next night I'll stay there will be in Max P around mid-september. :)

twinkle, my D will be at the Amherst overnight, as well. We are attending the UC overnight, this Thursday/Friday, as well. We fly back on Friday, then she leaves on Saturday for Amherst.

You don't have to email them. You can visit them, visit classes and overnight in the dorms any day of the school year.

evitajr: its going to be a busy week/weekend for you guys!

my parents actually had a change of heart; now, i'm going to visit UC next week, for the 21-22 overnight.
