Who liked Bill Nye the Science Guy?

i didn't realize he was that old. He's older than my parents by 2 or 3 years

i read somewhere that bill nye was discovered after winning a steve martin look-a-like contest...

ha! I can see the resemblance I guess!

I don't trust anyone who didn't like Bill Nye.

OMG i love bill nye. i'll have to catch the new show.

::sings the theme song in my head::
bill! bill! bill! loll good times

he's soo awesome.. loved the show; was addicted in my gradeschool years...

Bill Nye was such a good show... my teachers have shown them since elementary school all the way up to my bio class in high school. my 7th grade science teacher had actually met him in person. she said he was a really chill guy. i want to meet himm.. =(

You guys go to some pretty neat schools! Never have any of my evil teachers shown a Bill Nye show to us grr...

Bill Bill Bill Bill, bill nye the science guy. Science rules. bill bill bill bill bill nye the science guy.

I HAD TO

If I don't watch bill nye my last year of HS I just might cry. We've had some good memories

I haven't seen it in a long time. What happened to it?

used to watch it a lot when i was younger. it was ok.

what? it was ok? that's an abomination!

ever notice how liking nerdy things is becoming trendy? liking uncool things is cool... and vice versa

funkyfunnybunny:

I agree with you, and I think it's because initially "nerdy" things are not popular, so not many people are into them. Then, because it's "out there" and no one is really "familiar" with it, people start thinking, "hey, I'll be the rebellious teenager that I am and start liking something that no one else will like". Sooner or later, everyone likes the same thing. Basically, people try too hard to be "different" just for the sake of being "different" instead of actually liking it. Ya know? That's just my two cents- and I see it all too often, even in myself!

yeah, I think most of us have a little bit of it in us.

I think this happens often when it comes to music trends. I don't wanna come off as some weirdo, confused teen, but back in the day, I thought some boy band songs were catchy, while others just dissed them completely. Yeah, I know I'm weird. I didn't buy any of their CD's, but if I heard a song on the radio that everyone else would think is cheesy, I'd leave it on that station.

yes it was OK. I think I learned more watching the Magic School Bus... =]

We watched it in 7th grade science... well... it was on... I don't think anyone watched it.

But you can't blame me! Seventh grade! I didn't know any better... I would actually love to watch it now considering I have this mental block when it comes to anything science-related. I need things completley dumbed down for me lol. "Chemistry for Dummies" got me my first A in any science class, I highly recommend it.

down with bill nye and all uncool things becoming cool just for the sake of being "different"...
