<p>My D is interested in the speech pathology program at Towson University. She has heard so many positive and negatives about the school that she is second guessing herself.</p>
<p>If you yourself have attended or know anyone else who has, any input about the social atmosphere, whether or not it is a suitcase school, and anything else would be much appreciated!</p>
<p>It’s a good school I guess, I mean I’m not PERSONALLY a fan, but I know some people there; Baltimore is an Okay place, just stay out of the bad neighborhoods</p>
<p>I live about 5 minutes from Towson and there certainly seems to be plenty of kids around on the weekend. My D has friends there who like it but they are mainly music majors and they have a nice music department. We toured the campus when my D was looking, and I was very pleasantly surprised. I have lived here for years and had only driven by. There is a lot of building going on. Two of my best friends are professors there and they are very positive about the school. Towson is not in Baltimore and the two areas are quite different. I love Baltimore but there is no reason for kids at Towson to be anywhere near any bad neighborhoods.</p>
