<p>Who recieves the candidate's choice application. Is it just medalists?</p>

<p>My S received it and he's not a 'medalist'. Probably based on SAT / PSAT.</p>

<p>My cousin received one. He got a 1480 on the old sat, 1st try. That is his only score reported to the school so it must be based on that.</p>

<p>When I received the Candidate's Choice application, I hadn't submitted my scores to RPI at all.</p>
