I am asking teachers for letters of recommendation,but I don’t know if the subjects of the teachers I get my LOR’s from matter. Currently I am asking my English (AP Lang and Comp) and AP Chem teachers for LOR’s. I could also ask my Math teacher (AP Calc). However I am entering into a STEM field, so should I get LOR’s from my math and chem teachers instead of my chem and english teacher?
Schools typically like to see one STEM and one humanities teacher so I would stick with your English and Chem teachers especially if you feel they know you best.
