uhhhhh pretty sure i was smart enough to call the ILR admissions office, thankkzzz
hah, but yeah im a junior transfer from a CC too

That sounds awesome that they’d be done so soon. Do you guys remember the email I posted from Cornell? They said the very first decisions would start coming out at the end of April all the way through to early July. I don’t see how this could be possible that they’d be done will all decisions for transfers by then.

i think they say April thru June because that generalizes ALL the different colleges… ILR in particular is finished before say the engineering school… i think we mentioned before that they’ll be taking time thru May.

and probably the Performing Arts auditions and demos need a lot more time to properly go thru. I think April through June is a blanket statement

nevermind then. look, all this anticipation for waiting around has really dulled my senses…

for example,
i check my mailbox everyday and i always thoroughly check it to make sure no envelope is sticking to the sides…i’ve become ‘that guy’ who is oddly looking into his mailbox in the mail room when there’s clearly no mail in there!

Oh I have a question. Do we have to send Cornell our final marks after the semester is over? It was never listed anywhere that they would require that once things were done this semester and there always is when they required a final high school transcript once grade 12 was over last year if/when you apply. This year it doesn’t say that they require transcripts once the semester is over. Is there decision final when they make them? Are there conditions upon which they offer acceptance like a minimum GPA that you have to finish the semester with?

Haha make fun all u like!! im home now!!! And guess what everyone!!! Your all still waiting for your decisions and im not!! HAHA!! :)… jk!! I hope u all get ur decisions soon!! so you can celebrate with me!!!

now dragon…that’s just mean
glad you got home safe!

Zirt: you will have to send your final transcript to Cornell if you want those credits to transfer!. I forget what the acceptance says exactly, but your decision is contingent on your performance in your final semester.

does anyone know where the link is for what classes you have to have completed prior to transfer? i didn’t find it.

all i know is that my major has no pre-reqs.

Just a couple of numbers for last years transfer students. #1 college was CAS with 1018 applicants, #2 was CALS with 715 applicants, #3 is CoE with 264 applicants, closely followed at #4 by ILR at 229. If ILR would be finishing so soon, why not CoE, I wonder.

My real question is, do they have a base GPA you have to be over for final marks in 2nd semester? Dragon, do you know what it is? There’s ONE class I’m not doing well in at all. If you fail one class, but your GPA is decent, will they rescind offer or does the GPA have to be below a certain threshold for that?

i’m curious too, since i may drop my english class for a W (teacher is atrocious and offensive). i can take it over the summer though, and midterm grade was A.

Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review. Please refer to the requirements for your college(s) to ensure you have sent all the required materials to us.

yeye

petee’s behind the game… haha…

Haha, yes, a little. :-P

Um so far they have not say anything like that to me in the acceptance letter. However, the credit evaluation said that you need a min. grade of a C- in order to transfer. Umm… Thats the only thing I can get from it. But i still suggest that you do well and finish strong in ur semester.

great… the night i have to stay up to do a 25 slide powerpoint on education from early rome to late middle ages, everyone else bails on me!

damn… did i pick the wrong night… haha

eh? i’m up. sounds like a fun presentation.

I’m still up too!! lol… Im drinking a nice cool class of iced water!!!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
