Dear DragonNeedSpank,

Congratulations! The Selection Committee in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) at Cornell University has approved your admission for the Fall 2009 semester in the Biological Sciences major.

Your admission to Cornell University is recognition of your academic achievements and accomplishments and a time to consider how you will continue to achieve your educational goals. As a student in the college, you will be studying with hundreds of students who have transferred from colleges and universities from around the country and world. At Cornell, you will have access to faculty, students, academic and research facilities that will foster intellectual curiosity, enrich your leadership skills and enhance your community and world awareness.

Please review this website for important information as you consider your transfer to CALS. Most importantly at this time, if you are applying for financial aid and have not yet submitted the required forms, you need to contact the Financial Aid office at 607-255-5145.

A preliminary transfer credit evaluation is attached for your review. You are required to complete a minimum of 60 credits at Cornell and a maximum of 60 credits can be transferred. You will soon receive the University acceptance packet which includes housing, dining, deposit and orientation information. Review that information carefully and follow all deadlines.

We look forward to you joining our vibrant community to define, create and pursue your educational goals in a college defined by the theme “Developing Leaders, Improving Lives, Shaping the Future.”

If you have any questions as you consider your offer of admission please call 607-255-2036.

yeahh. i just got that FIN AID thing in the mail…

you know i brushed it off because i submitted my fafsa really early in the game…so when i checked my mailbox i was freaking, because it wasnt from “The Office of Financial Aid, Cornell”…it was a large white envelope that was from “Office of Admissions and Enrollment, Cornell.”

yeah…heard nothing yet. just major adrenaline for no reason.

I didn’t get mine yet!!! Do u think becuz i got accepted early they will send my financial aid package early? I mean they not even finish with the freshman financial aids yet…

You know we should do? Just go to Cornell right now and sit in the admissions office until they accept us! XD… lol jk… I always look at the live views camera and I can now picture myself standing in front of Ho Plaza!:)

here comes another weekend of nothingness…

Even I got a letter in the mail today from Cornell asking me to apply for Fin Aid. They should really put “Financial Aid” on the envelope instead of “Admissions and Enrollment”.

gosh…no one has heard anything new? how strange.

Hey guys, for those who applied in the CAS.I emailed the admission office yesterday asking when they would start releasing decisions. Today I got a reply. They will start notifying us late April though May.
