They have quarters here at OSU, and I love it. We have to switch to semesters by 2012, though. The best thing about quarters is that you get to take more classes and if you don’t like a class, it only lasts 10 weeks.

I know!! Once I got accepted to Cornell, I stop all my transfer app :)… haha…

interesting. some of the schools i’m in at are quarter system. it kinda of stresses me out though because i’ll have to work while i’m in school.

I’m at relay for Life!!! Its fun!! Hope you all do relay for life hehe…

hey congrats to everyone that got in!! whoop whoop! i hope to see you guys in the fall. are any junior transfers here (besides me)?

do we have a facebook group yet?

junior - meeeeeeeeeee. but i don’t really care as long as i get in, even if i have to start again as a freshman! lol

hey dirty chicago I’m a sophomore transfer for CALS. Ill see you on campus soon.

someone make a facebook group, i’ll join for suree

hey!

i applied to cals biological sciences for fall 2009 transfer.
i saw some of the guys had already received their decisions, but i haven’t
received anything from cornell. literally, anything!

So, most of your guys who applied to cornell 2009 transfer had already received their decisions?!

thanks!!!

not quite buddy, only 2 or 3 have. everyone else is waiting.

thanks ilivefree!

i saw some kind of posts which says the decision letters will be send out on the 20th and finalized by 30th. so are we accepted or rejected already?!

im so anxious about my decision as everyone in this thread!

if im not mistaken that was for ILR. I think for CAS and CALS its the 30th and engineering its mid-may (the expected decision dates that is. its possible for them to take longer)

thanks brahnema!

so, cals and cas applicants will be notified on April 30th by email as scheduled?!

well thats what im guessing. admissions told me decicions should be “out” by the end of the month. whatever that means. i also asked about a call list and they said that all decisions go out by email, so i figure if they have the decisions on the 30th it should be pretty easy to click a button and send out all the decisions that same day.

wow! u are so amazing, brahnema!

you are so enthusiastic about cornell!
Since cornell is definitely my first choice, i will attend if i get accepted!
so hopefully, i can see u in cornell campus!

do u have any other info about admissions?!
thanks!

Do they email you if they are rejecting you? It seems like the only ones who have gotten decisions have been acceptances so far. Has anyone gotten a rejection email? Perhaps they only email you if you are accepted, and if you are to be rejected, they leave the informing for the self service site?

are the emails sent out on mondays? didnt dragon and someone else both get their congrats emails on a monday or beginning of the week?

lol epic fail on the stats/decisions thread.

hey, jaimetransfer:
what ended up happening when you called CAS yesterday? did they finally give you a decision?

Ugh, for future Cornellians, I figure people on the Stats thread could follow simple directions… =P
