<p>I just received an email from Cornell confirming that they have filed my LORs into my application. I am all set as far as my application goes. I hope I will know the result by the end of November.</p>

<p>i’m kind of in between about whether i want to know or not. i’d kind of like to go to transfer day and say hi to the humec people and show them that i’m still really interested in the school and taking the time to go to their programs and whatever. but ideally, i’d like to know by the week before thanksgiving. i’m still so crazy nervous about the comment the admissions guy gave me, and i’m up against riley’s 4.0 lol</p>

<p>Has anyone actually heard anything from admissions themselves as to when we might start hearing back? Last time I called I got my head bitten off for asking if they got my test scores (I was very polite, I swear =(, I think the lady was just stressed or tired lol), so I don’t really want to call again xD.</p>

<p>honestly, if we hear by Nov 15th, its because the committee feels bad about the fall semester mess up and wants to get it out of the way early. but i took a peek into the Spring transfer 09 thread and no one in there heard until Dec 12th ish…</p>
<p>i feel like its in all of our best interests to forget cornell exists until the decision randomly appears in the mail… because theres nothing anyone can do now except worry and who wants to live their lives worrying all day long!</p>
<p>what fall semester mess up? and yeah, no one had a decision til december but their deadline was also a month later than ours, so i hope that cornell moving the deadline up means that they want to get decisions out faster so <em>crosses fingers</em> hopefully good news will come soon! </p>
<p>and i wish i could forget lol. i’m seriously obsessed. i think of nothing else :(</p>
<p>I agree, BrandNew, that’s pretty much what I did last spring waiting for my decision. I was like ‘oh what’s Cornell?’ by the time May came around (except back then I had other schools who accepted me to dwell on instead.) </p>
<p>But yeah, ironic is right, the deadline used to be November 1st for everything. Well now I’m just confused. I’m sticking to my 15th notion, haha.</p>
<p>I’m not worrying though, just a little antsy. And wow, it’s raining like crazy here today. Doesn’t look like the yanks will be playing down in the city today.</p>
<p>Actually, BrandNew, in the Spring 09 thread, they started hearing back December 04. The first person to hear back I believe was a premed applicant. But most of them heard on December 5th, and then those who didn’t, lasted until the week after that. Since their deadline was a month after ours, I’m hoping that the same pattern goes for us, except moved up a month.

<p>Post #399, lol, then 3 pages later they’re all like REJECTED or ACCEPTED, early in the morning of December 5th. Yup.</p>
<p>TFN- My inbox is pretty full, so I’m just going to respond out here. Thanks a lot for agreeing to ask and don’t worry about jumbling your words; I was pretty nervous and I lost my train of thought a few times but Ian still showed interest.</p>

<p>My hunch is that we’ll start seeing some decisions in the first week of November. I was told by a CALS admin that decisions will begin mailing by mid November, but I think early applicants will hear sooner. Rolling admissions, right?</p>
<p>i really hope i’d hear back from cals within the first week of november so i can just move on with my life ! lol</p>
