<p>Okay everyone... I'm almost definite that I will be enrolling for the Fall of 2005! Who would have thought.... I'm hoping to hear something about the honors program before I make my final decision though... </p>

<p>wow really? Congrats! If you don't mind me asking... why? After other posts that you have written (i'm not a stalker.. i sware!!) why would u pick QU over a school like GW, which has a much higher rep?</p>

<p>GW is wayyy too expensive. I only got about $4,000 financial aid, and considering it's $49,000, i'd have to pay $45,000 which is absolutely ridiculous. I didn't get into BC. I got waitlisted at Bucknell. After going to Northeastern's open house i'm not sure if I loved it. It didn't have the campus feeling i was looking for, and I realized the co-ops aren't for me. Although they're great experience, I thik it takes away from your actual college experience, plus you'll be working for the rest of your life anyways. </p>
<p>After visiting Quinnipiac, I realized it was perfect for me. The only thing I'm worried about is it's reputation, but my dad talked to his cousin who's a provost at at college somewheres, and he told my dad that Quinnipiac is definitely getting a better reputation each year. "It's up and coming." </p>
<p>I've also realized that I'll probably be close to the top of my class at Quinnipiac, where I could stand out with my professors, rather than at a large school like Northeastern that is rather unpersonally. </p>
<p>Where do you plan on going next year?</p>
<p>Well umm... not sure. I guess its between American University, Ithaca College, Binghamton and New Paltz. Idk.. i just came back from New Paltz, and it was okay, I'm going to DC mon & tues and that is really the type of school i like. Its close to the city, (being a poly sci major, its a major plus) yet it still has a campus. So yeah... idk... i guess i just have to go back and see, but i'll keep you posted about my final decision.</p>

<p>I've never been to AU, but I went to visit Ithaca. Applied and accepted there, but they only gave me $5,000 there (still ****ed about that). My parents are bugging me to go check out Binghamton sometime this weekend since it's a state school and all, aka wayyy cheaper, but I know that I wouldn't be happy there. My boyfriend's mom is actually executive assistant to the provost at New Paltz. We had Jason West, the mayor of New Paltz come our school to speak. He made it sound like New Paltz was full of hippie/ huge pot heads. I dunno if your into all that, hahaha. </p>
