Who's Skipping School To Get Two More Weeks To Study???

I know I am man!!!! I got 6 AP's to prep for....I got three under the belt, but the other three are out of control. Im starting Chapter 5 out of 6.5 in the book for Calc AB, I'm only in Chapter 8 in PR Bio, and I haven't started French which I haven't seen in over two years... All these are self studies and are driving me crazy. So, I'll just take the makeup

So wait…if you don’t show up on the regular test date of the ap exam, you get to make it up two weeks later?

What’s the fee for that?

i dont think that is what the OP means…b/c i know the late test date is only for special circumstances that the counselor has to order in advance…last yr, i couldn’t take a late exam even though on one day i had a school choir competition…it is only for the scheduling problems, like chemistry/env sci are on the same day, so i’m taking env sci late…
as for skipping chool, i skipped a week of school last year and it definetly helped…i’m skipping this year too!!

um…are you allowed to do that??

at my school, seniors who are taking 5+ APs and IBs are allowed to be absent from school from the day of their first exam to the day of their last exam.

no dice for us juniors, though

yes…special circumstances only…but the counselor was very lenient…its 30 bucks per test though

I think the OP is going to skip school leading up to the test in order to have more time to study, not to postpone the test. So he will skip the next few weeks.

Lol at my school if you miss more than 10 days in the whole school year (counting both semesters), you have to appeal to a board of trustees in order to pass all your classes. That’d be kind of risky…

And also, you don’t get exempt from elective class final exams if you miss more than 2 or 3 days at my school.

I’ll probably just be studying after my exams (on the days of AP exams, I don’t have to go to school)

I’m skipping 2-3 days before my first AP test… but 2 weeks? that’s a bit ridiculous.

Hahaha I am skipping most likely ZERO days before my first test because I am not going to miss other important classes (honors/electives/other AP classes) in order to cram in some more information. Maybe… one day, but only if I REALLLY need it.

I have 2 weeks off of school before the APs! <3 (Spring break over here!)

im taking APs in most of my classes, so it would be really bad for me to miss 2 weeks of school.

200th post ftw

two weeks? heck to the NO WAY. all my classes are reviewing essential/major themes/topics for each tests and taking a bunch of crazy MC and FR practice tests to go along with them.

like everyone else here i think 2 weeks is a little excessive. but i think i am going to maybe skip one day for world history. And then i have the weekend to cram for bio :D

well, I am taking two easy APs as a freshman, and may skip a day or two. No clue though, since I have already missed a lot of school for state debate and tennis over the last two weeks. I would have no problem if I didn’t have stupid math :|

I’m studying at school. Maybe I’ll skip the day before my exams.
Good luck to everyone

wow, at my school you can miss 26 days of a full year course and 13 of a half year course.

I only have BC calc, Physics B, and AP Euro. In the first two, from the countless practices we have done over the year, I am solidly in 5 range. For AP Euro, I am probably only solidly in a 4, skirting on the edge of 5.

Why the heck would I do that when I prepare in school everyday for the AP exams.
