Hi,

I am an international student applying to Stern undergraduate ED.
Considering that only a small number of people are getting interviewed, I was just wondering why I got interviewed. Is that a bad sign?
Thanks

I pretty sure that the interviews are only for international students applying to NYU or US students applying to NYUSH and NYUAB. I don’t know about whether its a good or bad sign, but if you can present yourself really well, then your chances just got better

Thanks for your answer. I have no idea if the interview went well or not. If anyone has more info on the interview process (their motivations for interviewing certain people and not others) of NYU that would be great.

@LLbrasi Did you already do your interview? And if so, what questions were you asked?

@libertysenior Yes i had it like 2 weeks ago.

I got asked a lot of questions.

-What are my motivations for Stern.
-What do I like about my school.
-What was my favorite moment of the week and my least favorite moment of the week.
-What is my passion in life.
-How did I write my common app essay, what was the trait of my personality that I was trying to show in my essay.
-It was a skype call so at a moment he wrote 2 questions in the chat and i had to answer one in a written format in 5 minutes: i had the choice between who is my role model or what is my definition of success.

I got other questions but I can’t remember them all.
