<p>Well, I guess you might want to repost your question in the graduate forum, and look for statistics that identify the preferences of potential graduate students who are admitted to both Stanford and Cal. </p>
<p>In the meantime, I am afraid that the known facts about how many students accepted to both Stanford and Cal for an undergraduate degree attend Cal hardly confirmed your position. Now, you know that there are about only 10-12 admitted students per annum who pick Cal over Stanford. </p>
<p>Or you might pick a better example for your crusade. ;)</p>
