<p>The Brandeis CommonApp supplement has the ‘Why Brandeis?’ question with a word limit of 250 words; but on the other hand, the Brandeis application has the ‘Why Brandeis?’ question with no limits.</p>
<p>I’m really confused about the actual word limit. Can anyone suggest anything? Has anyone ever had an experience with this? Would really appreciate a response.</p>

<p>The 250 word “limit” you see is a suggestion. There’s not a true limit to how much you could write for the “Why Brandeis?” essay, but we’re not looking for a particularly long essay. </p>

<p>If you use the common app, then, yes, there is a character limit, as there is not an option to upload a document. In any case, it seems like your best option is to by the suggested guidelines, so just do some editing!</p>
