<p>My bestfriend's been a member of it for a couple of years and she'd mentioned it a few times so I was aware of the website. I actually began visiting it regularly (and joined it) in December 2006 when I was eagerly awaiting my ED results from Swarthmore.</p>

<p>I came to ask around which AP Prep Book is the best for AP Govt. Someone on Yahoo Answers (or maybe Live QnA) mentioned this website.</p>
<p>I was taking an SAT prep class and the instructor told us that this was a good site. He said, "Yeah, it's insane! There's a bunch of freaks on there posting the questions and answers they remember from the SAT!! I don't know how they remember all the questions." This intrigued me....I visited, joined, and became addicted. Now I am one of those "freaks" who post answers to tests from my memory.</p>
<p>I googled something and found this site, just like everyone else. I wish I had some very interesting and unique back-story... but I don't =)</p>

<p>My friend told me about CC a long while ago and I read some of the stuff on the site a few times. During the summer, my internship gave me lots of free time infront of a computer, so I joined and my first thread was asking about what courses to take in high school. I then asked a few other dumb questions including a chances thread. One of my other friends joined at the same time I did and we stumbled on eachother's chances threads, but he didn't become addicted. My addiction probably came from ED angst and nothing to do at my internship during the school year.</p>
<p>I was looking for stuff about AP Computer Science, and then I wanted to see what people thought about the SAT that I took, and making sure my answers were right and stuff (haha, this was in like 6th or 7th grade).</p>
<p>I didn't actually join until I was a freshman though, because then people would have made a big deal about a 7th grader being on CC.</p>
