<p>I applied to the Ohio State University on October 30, and have not heard back. It has almost been two months! Is this normal, or should I be concerned? I am from Michigan, have a 3.6 GPA, and an ACT composite score of 27. My essay was great, and my letters of recommendation were excellent. I am involved in almost every club offered at my school, and am also enrolled in several honors/AP classes. I have completed over 200 hours of community service, and also have a job teaching children at a local dance school. I applied as a pre-nursing major. Will I ever be accepted?!</p>

<p>It seems like the biology/pre-med/pre-vet students have not been admitted yet. I have around the same stats and applied Oct. 12 I was really hoping to hear before Christmas so I could take some good news to dinner. Oh well, it’s not over yet we just have to wait I guess.</p>

<p>I sent in my application end of October, transcript was received end of November. I just got accepted this week. A few of my friends applied earlier (one pre-med, one pre-vet) and they both were accepted to OSU a while back.</p>

I have a 3.7 out of 4.0 gpa and a 27 ACT composite and take all the honors courses available at my school. many of my friends have applied after me and have heard a decision but im still waiting. so frustrating!</p>
<p>okkk this is what i have decided. i have similar stats to you, but it honestly seems like they are accepted everyone with above average ACT/SAT scores and mediocre GPAs. I was reading about OSU earlier and it made it seem like really depend on test scores. but your ACT score is prettttyyy good so i don’t know why you haven’t been accepted! and a 3.7 is good too! I have a 3.6 UW and top 10% in my class and ok SAT scores and i haven’t heard back yet either :(</p>
<p>but you see i know someone who got in with a 3.6 and a 25…it really doesnt make any sense. but you both will get in…3.7 and 27 is def enough to get you in. and the worst youd get right now is deferred then probably accepted…i knwo someone last year with a 3.4 and 24 who got deferred…didnt get in but thats a pretty low act score for them. i just want to know one way or another…i have a 3.4 and a 28 btw…know ill get deferred</p>
