Why is college transcript needed for undergrad admission?

I have submitted all the required documents and test scores to PSU
However the application status says that :

Our records show that your application is currently incomplete.

Your application will be complete upon receipt of the following required materials:

College transcript(s) needed.

Why do I need to submit college transcript?? I am still a high school student and I do not have such thing.

Did you indicate that you had taken some college level courses on you application?

You may want to call the school and straighten that out.

Call admissions. If you did dual enroll they may want those transcripts depending on the major you applied for. However, my DD has taken many college classes while in HS and we were told that she didn’t need to send those transcripts until she were accepted and wanted to get PSU credit for them. Her app has been complete since early September. You will want to call and straighten it out because the November priority deadline is just around the corner.

I did not indicate that I had taken some college course on my application; I have checked it a number of times.
Anyway, since I cannot make an internatinal call, I e-mailed the admission. It has been more than 2 days but I am not getting any response. It really frustrates me!

I had to call admissions directly to clear up the same issue for my daughter. She is currently enrolled in college classes, so she listed them on her application, but there are no grades yet so I had to let PSU know that. It must have been confusing because she had some college credits with transcripts from her Junior year.
