It was actually a very minor issue on this forum - the UCLA forum paid much more attention to the rankings change. There is, for example, only one mention of it in this thread (which was started before those rankings were issued) until your post. I am sorry it upset you - in general the feeling on this forum is that both USC and UCLA are excellent schools and outstanding choices for any student - at least that is the way I feel about it.</p>

<p>I agree with alamemom. You’re a UCLA student…bringing it up in here. If you read this thread, UCLA is only mentioned a few times, most of the time in comparison with other schools as well such as UVa and Emory.</p>
<p>I think in due time, USC will get moved into the top universities category. Within the next couple of years it will be a US News Top 20 school for sure. Until then, we will have to deal with the agony of the extra 5 seconds it takes to find this forum (except for me, since I have it bookmarked :))</p>

<p>i have seen many different USC students, in facebook forums for example, say ‘UCLA is just jealous because we’re higher than them now in USNWR…’ and i’ve seen this done by many people. I just think it’s pretty funny how it comes up.</p>
<p>i think USC is a fine school as well. Both schools are obviously in the top 25 for a reason. The ‘conspiracy theories’ in this thread are pretty funny though haha.</p>
<p>i should also mention that i have this forum bookmarked as well. being a CC top university doesn’t really matter imo.</p>
