Why Mcgill Desautels?

Hi everyone, I’ve been accepted to Desautels, Rotman Commerce and Babson College for undergraduate studies. Although my top choice is Mcgill, I am still unsure about commiting… I guess I need a little nudge, so please help me by answering a few questions.

  1. What is the graduation rate and first year retention rate at Desautels or Mcgill in general?
  2. Are there many people who choose to pursue another degree after graduation? I'm thinking of going to the US for grad school. What are the graduate school options after graduating with an B. Comm from Mcgill? I may be interested in doing Law, or other non-management masters. Does the school have many resources to help you with the transition?
  3. How is the curriculum at Desautels balanced between theory, research and practical elements?
  4. How competitive are the study abroad programs at Mcgill?
  5. Who are undregrads taught by? Professors? TAs? Maybe even grad students?

Thank you very much

Also please feel free to give me other pointers that might help me decide which university to attend.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I am a Canadian citizen. In terms of cost, I know Babson College will be more expensive, but I have received ~ $20,000 in aid/scholarship so I will be able to afford it. Also, I used to live in Montreal till 9th grade, so I know the city.
