Hi guys, I have been accpeted to Babson College, the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill and Rotman Commerce at the University of Toronto. I am currently debating which school to go to, please help me and give me some pointers.
I am a Canadian citizen, so Babson will be relatively expensive, but I have received ~ $20,000 in aid/scholarship so I will be able to afford it. I plan to work or go to grad school in the US after graduation, so US rep matters a lot to me. Also, I may be interested in studying a non-management masters, which is why I’ve been hesitant about Babson.
Please share your knowledge of these schools with me, thanks
Please elaborate on your plan of study…i.e.; non management Masters?
@voyager24 I haven’t really looked at this in depth since it’s still pretty far and all, but I’m interested in Law and Government for grad school. Of course, getting an MBA is also among my choices. The only thing I’m sure about is that I want to go to grad school immediately after I graduate.
I’m not sure how to advise you …Babson, like many business schools have few students that go directly to graduate school or law school…I think that it is also true of the two other schools you mention you have been accepted to…Babson does have a concentration in law and some students do go onto Law school…Babson is an excellent business school with a wide range of liberal arts course options, while the tradional route to top law schools is not usually a business undergrad. Background Babson would I believe compare favorably with your other two choices!
