<p>Most of the students from Oxford eventually go on to Emory. I know there's antedotal evidence that some actually choose Oxford over Emory, but eventually, they too, go on to and graduate from Emory anyway? Isn't Oxford just a back door for those that didn't make it into Emory for freshman year?</p>
<p>I wouldn't say its a "back-door." The students who attend Oxford mainly do so because they want to attend the main campus of Emory University, and were not accepted as freshman. That being said, many of the students who attend Oxford enjoy the smaller campus feel. As a Sophomore on the main campus, I know many transfers from Oxford who say that they enjoyed their experience, and felt that it prepared them well for main campus.</p>
