<p>I'm sure this thread has been done previously, but I'm looking for some passion out of you Penn folk. Penn has been my top choice for awhile, but I'm nervous and don't really remember anymore why this was. I think it was just a name.</p>
<p>So rather than just broad lists (as I found through search), could anyone give me brief-ish descriptions of things socially, academically, frat, philadelphia etc. and their personal experiences of why they like or chose Penn? Thanks.</p>

<p>I wasn’t talking about the Penn essay, if I came off wrong. I was asking about why you chose Penn, like personal experiences their, like reasons that made you want to go there. This sounds identical to the essay, but for a person who has yet to visit hearing others’ enthusiasm and stories make me curious</p>
<p>There are lots of good reasons 
but the best way to find them is to search around for 'em.</p>
<p>A lot of people like Penn’s One University policy (in which you are free to enroll in classes at almost all of Penn’s schools), the great balance of academics and a social scene, the city of Philadelphia being big enough to be interesting (win against New Haven) and small enough not to overwhelm college/campus life (win against NYC)…and the food trucks :)</p>
