<p>Umm, I already sent it in so I’m screwed if this is bad but whatever. On the why Upenn essay, I didn’t mention Upenn once. Instead, I just talked about why I want to go to Wharton. Is that bad?</p>

<p>Well... an adm. officer said that they dont like just "wharton" essays because a big component of studying at wharton is the involvement with the Penn community overall. She said also that some admissions officers dont like them because they show that the applicant is only interested in wharton and not willing to contribute to the Penn community to which everyone belongs....</p>
<p>What I think is that one cant generalize becuase essays are soo different from one another... maybe yours is fine, but I cant say if the adcom will like it or not...</p>
<p>Well look at it this way... at least you didn't write "Upenn", which would've really peeved them off</p>
