wierd way to transfer

I started college for the 1st time 2 weeks ago and i found out i have to withdraw and transfer but my schools telling me i need my transcripts to transfer to the new college but i dont see why i only been there for 2 week and would just have Incomplete on the transcript.

Why would you have to withdraw and transfer? More than that though, students generally can’t transfer schools with less than 12 completed credit ours, if you applied anywhere else you’d be admitted as a freshman, not a transfer.

I’d need some more information to be of any help.

i have to withdraw because im 1666 in debt to the school because of health insurance and random fees and cant get any other loans and was going to transfer to a different cheaper college in the fall but my current college says to transfer i need to have their transripts

Well, that’s true. In order to transfer you need to submit your previous college transcripts. However, because this is your first semester and you haven’t completed any credits, submitting a transcripts full of withdraws is pointless. Like I said above, most universities do not consider a student a transfer unless they’ve completed 12 or more college credits. I would be to your best benefit to apply to a school as a freshman because you don’t have any college experience ( 2 weeks doesn’t count )

Yeah that’s what i thought be my school was telling my otherwise thanks eLynn07
