Will 1 W affect my admission into UCLA OR uc Berkeley?

<p>Ok so I am taking an Economics Class this semester, but have realized that its way too hard. Currently I am taking 20 units this semester which was a mistake. My major is Anthropology or Classical Civilizations and Im applying to UCLA AND uc BERKELEY. I have a 3.4 gpa and am doing TAP with UCLA. Im also on phi theta Kappa. Will one W this Fall semester be detrimental or not?</p>

I found out that W’s do not affect your gpa.</p>

<p>I mean your current GPA of 3.4 “may” hurt your chance of getting into UCLA and/or Cal</p>

<p>If it’s a choice between a B and a W, take the W. Two or three Ws won’t matter at all.</p>

<p>I had two W’s and I got into LA with no TAP. W’s don’t affect you, though if you have more than a couple, you should provide an explanation.</p>
