So I just had a before school detention, just because I went on the bus without being dismissed (we are supposed to wait in the gym), and that is it. I got a write-up and before school detention. Will this affect my college application in the future? I am a very good student in classes and teachers do like me.

If it did, I never would have gone to college!!! Relax. Suspensions on your record are an issue. Detention is nothing. Don’t worry at all!
