Will a 630 in chem kill me? I applied to engineering, but i have a 750 on math2 and 790 on the sat1 math? should i take physics on saturday?

may they just think i had a bad day? it was also in 10th grade if that matters.

u have to have 3 sat 2s for princeton so if chem and math are ur only sat2s then yeah...take physics. Also, i wouldn't worry too much about it. You already sent out ur app so its too late and besides its only one of the six sat sections.

if you have other things that make you stand out then it shouldn't matter. If you're only a mediocre guy then it will kill your chances quite a bit.

(I'm having second doubts of applying to Princeton even though I got 790 Chem and 800 Math Sat and Math 2c. Mainly cause I don't think I have anything else going for me)

ya, it really depends on how many sat II's you have so far.

sorry to say, but a 630 on chem really might hurt a prospective engineering applicant. only take physics if you are sure you can do well (750+)
if you get like 700, which is still pretty week, you will in effect be confirming that you are deficient in science skills lol

i also have an 800 on us history

lol we are foils, i happen to struggle a bit with history. i don't do poorly, its just that i have to try a lot harder

i think i wont take it. i got a 4 on the physics ap test, and my class average was around 97, so hopefully i'll be alright
