Will a 9 on SAT Essay hurt my chances at Ivies & such?

I didn't finish my SAT Essay and I got a 9. For that same test, my scores were 730 CR, 770 M, 800 W. I'm normally a very good writer--I've always gotten A's in English, I got a 5 on the AP Lit exam, an NCTE Acheivement in Writing award, a rec. from an English teacher who thinks really highly of me (she's the one who recommended me for NCTE), and my actual college essays. With all of this I hope I'll be able to show admissions officers that my SAT essay subscore was not representative of my writing abilities. I'm not sure though.
My college list:
Reaches are Yale and Brown
Matches are Northwestern, WUSTL, UChicago (not sure whether to call this reach or match) and UNC Chapel Hill (from out of state)
Safeties are UMD College Park and American University

It won’t matter at all.

only your overally writing score will matter, and since you got an 800, you really have nothing you need to worry about

SAT essay is worthless… colleges know that.

ok, thanks. that’s encouraging.
i agree, the sat essay doesnt really mean much. essentially a test of being able to jot down a couple of topics that loosely conform to an arbitrarily selected thematic mold in 25 minutes. bleh

The SAT rewards length - an MIT professor proved it statistically:

I honestly don’t see how such a test can be taken seriously by admissions committees.
