Will a B in Spanish ruin my chances at a top school?

I'm in the middle of high school right now, and am managing a decent GPA (3.75ish UW), and the only class that is pulling me down is Spanish, which also happens to be my only non-honors class. Currently I have a low B (83) and no matter how hard I try I just cant seem to pull it up. Will this ruin my chances for a top school (Cornell, Northwestern etc)?

P.S. I plan on being an engineering/science major.

Yes, you’re doomed to community college, not even a chance to your State U.

Seriously, don’t you people have better things to do than ask questions like “Will a B in ____ ruin my chances?”.

3.75 UW GPA makes those schools a bit of a reach for you anyway. You better have outstanding math and science grades/scores. A B in Spanish won’t kill you.

If you have a 3.75 you’ve obviously gotten Bs before - several times, actually. I don’t understand why you’re specifically concerned about Spanish.

Ya i know a 3.75 UW is a bit low but that was just because of a pretty **** freshman year. Also thanks for replying so fast I was just getting really paranoid :P

Also my 3.75 is mainly because I’ve been getting mostly straight A-'s
