I am currently doing summer courses at another college online in order to transfer credit to my home university. I am taking two courses, one I'm passing and the other I'm completely failing. The course I am failing in is really stressing me out and with the fact that I am now forced to fill out transfer applications to other colleges due to a sudden financial situation at my home university, I can barely concentrate on this course even though as it stands I will be getting an F anyway. When the colleges I wish to transfer to ask for my transcripts and a WF appears on one of them, will it affect my chances greatly since it is a college course, or will they overlook it since I'm only taking the class for credit. I've also wanted to properly withdraw and retake the class at my home university, but my online teacher was being extremely difficult and I missed the deadline.

I'm really worried this class will greatly affect my chances.

P.S. Will college transfer admissions overlook that WF grade if they see great improvement from my freshman year in the sense that I went from a 2.0 gpa to a 3.0 gpa in a single semester? I am going to be a Sophomore.
