Will a study hall look bad to colleges?

I am considering dropping out of College-level Psychology and replacing it with a study hall. I am currently a Junior. Here is my current schedule:

College-level Psychology
AP Art History
AP Human Geography
College-level Pre-Calculus
Biology
College-level English
Choir
College-level Spanish 3

Will dropping Psychology and replacing it with a study hall look bad to colleges?

study hall doesn’t really help or hurt you - it is more neutral.

What do you think you will want to major in in College?
Why are you taking Bio as a Junior?
Why AP Human Geo and not AP USH?

What is the issue with Psych?

What are you thinking of in terms of college and major?
What’s your current GPA?

Our HS requires a free period/study hall.

open periods are very common at our school-- not even by choice-- just scheduling constraints. To answer your question: It depends on info you have not provided like What Colleges? What Major? Etc. Your schedule does look a little non-standard for a junior. Not sure what “College Level” means if its not AP . Do you mean “College Prep” level? If so, that just means not remedial. Really it all depends on what schools you are targeting and your others stats. The choice to have study hall over
Psych is not a huge deal but these others things do matter.

It shouldn’t impact anything towards your college acceptance. You have a great schedule as you are taking AP and college level classes. When I was in high school, I would take a study hall every year because I would have my credits required so I would have time to complete my assignments and it really helped me. So I would say taking a study hall would really help especially since you got quite a load there with your schedule. Best of luck!
