The two Cs brought my gpa down. I had one B before. If all goes better from now I should end with a 3.75. I only have 4 easy classes left. I'm scared I messed up my chances of getting into UCLA. I'm hoping I can still get into a UC.? I'm majoring in history. I'm doing enough courses to cover all major requirments for most UCs even some cal states.

From a CC or an HS?

From a cc I am applying for transfer this fall

Average admitted history transfer GPA is 3.74 at UCLA so you should be good, though you will be admitted as a pre major and not a full history major you know that right?

Do the TAP for UCLA and TAG for the other UC’s!

No i didnt know that. so what does that mean? I’ll only be a part time student?

I wish but I can’t tag because I still need 2 math classes. That’s why I got a W.

You only need one, whoever told you you need two is lying or misinforming you, and if you don’t have the math class done by the end of fall you will guaranteed be rejected to any UC, they won’t even consider you unless you have at least 2 English classes and one math class completed by the end of fall 2013. And if you’re going to have that then you can do the TAG and TAP.

I need 2 the one before n the transferable math. I spoke to a ucla rep n I mentioned I wouldn’t be completing math till spring. They said it was fine, but now I’m worried. I’m applying to cal states as back up plan though.

What do you mean?

You haven’t done the math pre recs? Just take a math assessment and then take a stats class doing it the other way is a waste of time and no math can really prepare you for statistics

Yea I haven’t taken completed the math pre rec that I need for stats. I took the assessment test n scored where I have to take it. I tried taking the course but had to drop it this last spring. So now I have to take it this fall and take stats in spring.
