I am currently dual enrolled at my local community college taking Calculus II and I was not prepared at all for the work load and I have a D in the class.
I have been accepted to UCF, UF, and FIT. I am going to major in Aerospace Engineering.
Right now my schedule for senior year is, Calc I, US Gov, Intro to Hum, Mythology, Astronomy, Calc II, all DE, then Econ Hon, Aerospace Engineering Hon at my high school.
I have a gotten and will get A’s in all my classes except Calc II
Im really struggling to maintain the workload with Calc II, and im not sure if i should drop it because I dont want my admission to be revoked. I particularly concerned with UF.
An A in the class in near impossible, slim chance for a B, Ill probably get a C in the class, a D or an F is a possibility.
Im stuck, my counselors think it could affect my decision, but my friend who has a lower GPA and test scores and dropped Calc I early in the first semester got into UF.
At this point with sports and being a senior I just dont have time or the commitment to get a good grade in the class.
What do you guys think I should do?
I am literally in the same situation I wanna bump and see what others say.
You should contact each school individually, and find out whether it will cause a rescindance.
Agree, you should contact each school and be sure your acceptance will stand if you drop the course. If they say it is fine to drop the course, get it in writing (email or something is fine).
