Will an ap Exam affect The college I go to in the future

I’m a freshman in high school taking an ap world history exam soon. If I fail will that affect anything in the future such as college credit, college apps etc

Not really. Those scores are self-reported on the Common App. You can choose whether to report them; or whether to apply for college credit.

You could choose not to self-report that AP.

Although, adcomms would see the AP class on your transcript and wonder what happened to your score.

Well, it’ll obviously affect college credit. You won’t get any for that class. I actually am not sure if colleges take AP History credit even if you get a 5. So I’m not sure if it matters.

As for college apps, I can’t imagine one eerily missing AP score will knock you into the rejection pile.
