I have a very small portfolio of a few art pieces I worked on during my sophomore and junior year during independent classes. Some have won awards. Would this be worth sending to colleges even though I plan to major premed?

If they have won awards, then they are by any means pretty good. awkward sentence? You should include them if they are good. However, while it is normally advised choose only your best works, it sounds like you have only a few works so I am not sure if it is a good idea. If your artwork is very strong, it would be somewhat appealing. Are you planning to double major or continue to pursue art–at least as hobby?
